Alessia Patisserie & Cafe
Alessia Patisserie & Cafe is where European pastry technique and the delicious ingredients of the Central Coast come together. Too many delicious pastries and cakes to name, but some of our favorites are the bacon, cheddar and chive scone, butter croissant (any croissant!), and lemon raspberry tarte. They also have table service for breakfast and lunch.

Dart Coffee Shop & Garden
Head to Dart and be on the lookout for their signature lanterns. Dart is dedicated to bringing ethical craft-roasted coffee to your cup. Try the breakfast empanada and enjoy your coffee in their garden across the street. Ross likes the flat white, Lindsay likes the Elouisa.

McConnell's Fine Ice Creams
The finest ice creams made from scratch since 1949. Dense and pure-flavored, with smooth, consistent texture and a rich, velvety mouth feel. There’s a reason there’s always a line out the door!

Loquita
Loquita showcases authentic Spanish food including hot and cold tapas, wood-fired grilled seafood and meats, and seasonal paella. Sit in the courtyard - it’s gorgeous. Get the duck paella and farmers’ market sangria!

East Beach
It's hard to say enough about this beach. Beautiful, long, sandy, deep even at high tide and bordered by a grassy, tree-lined park. It has all the amenities a sun worshipper could wish for - a full beach house, restaurant, volleyball courts, playground area for children, and a bike/rollerblading bath. It's also a favorite for special activities - Saturday afternoon drumming, Sunday afternoon art show or an occasional soccer game. East Beach is near some of the largest hotels in Santa Barbara (and our home!).

Farmers' Market
The Santa Barbara Barbara Certified Farmers’ Market was founded in 1983. Stroll the dozens of stalls on Saturday from 8am-1pm at 119 E. Cota St., Santa Barbara CA. The hand pies, local sausages, and wildflowers are our favorite purchases.
